The Scuba Diver course suits you if you:
- prefer shallow dives and always diving with a guide,
- have the time to complete only a portion of the PADI Open Water Diver course.
In fact, you may begin your first underwater adventure by signing up for an Introduction dive with Terumbu Divers.
After your first experience underwater, you will find that diving is your next new hobby.
Thereafter, you can upgrade to PADI Open Water Diver easily whenever you have the time or when you are ready to complete the course.

Pool practice
In the pool with your instructor, you will learn the basic skills of diving. The purpose of the pool practice is help you:
- to feel comfortable in the water and with your diving equipment,
- practice your position and buoyancy in the water,
- how to dive safely.
Two sea dives
The course requires two open water dives.
With your instructor, you will apply the diving skills in the sea and meet the performance requirements.
You will also explore the marine life of Gilis, diving to a maximum depth of 12 meters.
Theory
Study the first three chapters of the manual and answer the knowledge review questions.
Complete three quiz : each quiz consists of ten multiple choice questions. It is necessary to answer 75% of the questions correctly. If you failed to do so, you will have to re-do the quiz again.
Diving gear rental
All diving equipment required is included.
PADI certification
Once you have met all the performance requirements, we will register your certification via PADI website. You will be a certified scuba diver, diving at maximum depth of 12m and always under supervision of a professional guide.
Pre requisite
To register for the PADI Scuba Diver course, you must be at least 10 years old.
