The PADI Advanced Diver course is the continuing education from Open water diver.
This course helps to enhance your diving skills and be more comfortable in the water. You will be under the direct supervision of your Instructor throughout your training.
This is a fun way to learn and gain more diving experience, at the same time upgrade to next level while exploring the underwater world of the Gili islands.
The Advanced course includes:
5 sea dives
Knowledge reviews
Rental diving equipment
Advanced PADI certification
5 open water dives
The course is 5 Adventures dives including:
- Deep dive (qualify you to dive to a maximum depth of 30m),
- Underwater Navigation,
- The additional three adventure dives will depend on which adventure dives you are interested in learning.

The 5 Knowledge reviews
The theoretical part of PADI Advanced Diver course is more simple and less intense compared to the PADI Open Water Diver course.
You have to read five chapters related to the adventure dives that you have chosen and answer the respective knowledge review questions. Then your instructor will go through the answers with you.
Rental of the gear
Tank, regulator, mask, fins, snorkel, shorty, BCD, weights, belt and usual other equipment necessary for the course are included.
PADI certification
Upon completion of knowledge development and met the performance requirements of the 5 adventure dives, you will awarded with PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification. Your certification will be registered on-line directly via PADI’s website.
Credit and Discount toward the PADI Specialties!
Each PADI Adventure Dive course can be credited as the first dive of the corresponding PADI’s Specialty diver course.
For example, your Deep adventure dive qualify you to dive up to 30m. That will be counted as first dive out of the four dives towards the Deep Diver specialty and you will get 15% discount on the Specialty course. So, with deep diver specialty certification, you can dive to a maximum depth of 40m deep.
15% Discount if you continue with a Speciality course.
Pre-requisite
- Certified as PADI Open Water Diver (Similar certification from other dive organizations are acceptable),
- Diver age 12 or older (Diver age 12 to 14 may earn a Junior Advanced Open water diver certification but limited to maximum depth of 21 meters).
